Agnya is born from a culture of Good Chaos — vibrant, layered, and unapologetically alive.
Weaving centuries of textile intelligence
into contemporary homes, it’s Indian design
for the next century.
HOW IT'S MADE
Hand Knotted
Each Agnya rug is hand-knotted, meaning every single knot is tied by hand, one at a time, around the warp. Even our smallest 3×5 ft rug holds over 54,000 individual knots. The result of this meticulous process? A beautifully plush, tactile feel underfoot and a rug that’s truly one of a kind.

Next Generation Indian Design
Neither appropriated nor dated, this is our take on Indian design for a new generation. We bridge the gap between past and present, and bring color, pattern and texture to the culturally curious
Beauty in Analog
Our pieces aren’t rushed off a factory line — they’re intentionally slow, with each piece taking months of hand‑knotting, weaving, and finishing. We emphasize techniques that have been passed down over centuries, and put specificity behind ‘artisanal’ and ‘handmade’
No Fake Foundations
Our natural material philosophy means you can trust our products are safe for every member of your family. All our rugs are made with 100% New Zealand Wool and hand-dyed in small batches using azo-free colors.
From our Founder
A decade of living between cultures has shaped how I design, with each place providing a unique influence. Agnya is the bridge that ties these creative references together. We blend time-honored techniques like hand-knotting with our own bold patterns that speak the language of today.
