The Nazar Rug draws from protective eyelet-shaped motifs found within the Lambani embroidery traditions of Western India, where geometry carries both symbolism and structure. Reinterpreted through an endless field of repeating diamonds, the pattern unfolds with measured rhythm.. Salmon, old rose, and scarlet tones layer across the surface, creating depth within a monochromatic spectrum.

Each AGNYA rug is an original handknotted entirely by hand in an artisan workshop in Uttar Pradesh, India. Current estimated lead times are:

5' x 8' and smaller | 8 - 10 weeks
6' x 9' and larger | 12 - 14 weeks

100% New Zealand wool. Ethically dyed in small batches and hand-knotted on vertical looms by master artisans in Uttar Pradesh, India.

Our rugs take weeks to complete, with the thousands of individual knots forming its dense, tactile surface. Fun Fact: even our smallest 3×5 ft rug holds over 54,000 individual knots!

Pile Height of our hand-knotted rugs is between 0.5 - 0.8 inches.

Every Agnya rug is made by hand, so please expect minor variations in color and pattern – the kind of imperfections only human hands can create.

Your rug is made of pure wool, a natural fiber that is strong, forgiving, and easy to love. A light vacuum keeps it happy. For spills, gently spot clean with mild soap and water. Let it dry fully before styling it back in. No machine washes please!

We offer air shipping worldwide. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout. To ensure your pieces reach you safely and without delay, each order ships directly from our workshop in Uttar Pradesh, India. Please note that orders with delivery locations outside of the US may be subject to import duties of their destination country.
